Hi, my name is Cameron McGuire and I am a senior at A&M preparing to graduate in May with a BS in Manufacturing and Mechanical Engineering Technology. MMET is a lot like mechanical engineering in that it focuses on how things are designed, but with a greater emphasis on how things are made. Manufacturing processes and materials science are a big portion of the MMET curriculum.

That said, the jobs related to MMET are anything from design, to manufacturing, to maintenance, in fields such as oil and gas, aerospace, and food/beverage.

Personally, I think I would prefer a job that involves design (3D modeling/CAD) work as well as being able to have a hands-on approach in building that design.
