Had jury duty yesterday, Employer is based out of St. Louis, so the handbook is based on Missouri law. My understanding is that an exempt salaried employee (me) gets compensation for a full week of employment if they work any portion of the week during the jury duty (I have).
Employer is telling me I have to submit PTO if I want to be paid for the time I missed. This doesn't seem right to me.
