I'm a supply chain professional with 10+ years of experience and I'm looking for a new opportunity. The majority of my experience was gained in the oil & gas industry (with one of the Big 3 oil companies), but I am definitely open to new industries.

In terms of supply chain activities, I've done it all.....from the management of multi-million dollar global contracts to the expediting of widgets, and everything in between. Although I have a decade of experience, I'm still definitely willing to roll-up my sleeves and do the required grunt work in the trenches. I also have experience in personnel management of supply chain professionals, each with varying levels of experience. I am open to an individual contributor role or a team lead role.

My preference is to remain in Houston as relocation is unfortunately not an option due to family obligations, but I'm willing to get creative if an opportunity presents itself outside of Houston. Travel, regardless of destination & frequency, is not an issue.

Thanks for the offer, but my wife (gonna have to pass on rule #1) has a business in Houston that she just opened the doors this year. It would be tough for a full-blown relocation for the family.

I'm open to getting creative on a solution, but not sure how open the company would be. Any thoughts?

You can still apply, just write a specific cover letter with this story. Show them why you are applying for a low level position. I don't own a company but if I did and I could hire a 25 year experienced person for a 5 year price I would do it 100 out of 100 times.
