Just wanted to find out what the Medical Test will be like for incoming field engineers.

for example, treadmill jog? sit ups?

Generally it's just your standard occupational health exam... Nut check, bend over touch your toes, check your eyes, listen to your heart, BAH, urine test. Granted, I don't work for Halliburton but that is the standard test we give everyone for my O&G company.

Some will require a blood draw for life insurance purposes.

Run up/down some stairs. You gotta squat for 2-5 min or something.

And do a number of other things as well. Wasn't too hard.

What is a Non DOT test? that is what I was told.

and i was told it was a urine test. my hair is relatively short. what if it is a hair test but my hair does not mean the length requirements?

Test for a non driving position

DOT tests are for new hires who will use their CDL for driving trucks in the company. Everything I posted above is a basic, non DOT test.

Chick who did my hair test trimmed my legs and left a little bald spot.

She first asked to trim my arm pit hair. Luckily my legs are hairy.

just got done with mine.

sit ups
squats
push ups
breath test for alcohol
and urine test

one thing to note is they didn't do a nut check. i was disappointed. was looking forward to it

Aw man, i thought the turn your head and cough thing was standard procedure for the doc., whether your company wanted it done or not....when the blue glove comes on, you know you're in trouble.

BigAGG, how was interview process?

djones91, the first interview was on campus and was mostly behavioral questions. second interview was on site and mostly them giving presentations and you asking questions. then you tour the site and end with an exit interview. was pretty simple and straightforward.
