Just curious if anyone knew how long the application process takes at COP. I put in a few applications a while ago on their website, and a couple of them were escalated to a 'secondary review' status about a month to 2 months ago. Getting antsy and hoping to hear back from them soon to set up an interview. Would love to work for COP. Anyone inside want to give me them a nudge for me??

I applied for a position as a Facility Engineer for the planning/design group in the Eagle Ford area (office in Houston). I was wondering the same thing. Any idea on usual timeline for COP for hiring? Or anyone know someone in the group? Thanks.

I don't know anything about the Eagleford positions...

But... the Permian / North Texas positions are in the Mid-Continent BU which is currently going through a massive re-org. It was announced in January and they havent selected all the new management yet. The process is expected to finish March 1st, so i wouldnt expect to hear anything before then.

I just started at COP at the beginning of February, working in Houston, but I'm working completions in the Permian. I applied in early October, did a phone interview the last week of November, an in person interview the first week of December and got an offer 2 weeks later. I accepted the offer but had to wait to start until my background check and drug test all went through, which took some time since it was the holidays. I will also let you know that I've seen a lot of Devon engineers coming over to COP. There were 3 or 4 in my orientation and there were 2 or 3 in this weeks orientation class. I thought there wasn't a chance for me to get hired here since I came from a service company but I'm glad they chose me. Hang in there and good luck!
