How long do you want to ignore this user?
Got a call from a recruiter today about a huge project here in Denver.

Anyone work for this company? I am happily employed and have lots of stability which is good right now. It would take a great company for me to leave. Just thought I'd see if any of you knew much about the company.

If you want stability, do not work for them. They will move you around every 2-3 years.

That's what I kind of figured. My schedule is awesome right now too with only 40 hour work weeks and every 3rd Friday off. I have a feeling it wouldn't be like that there.

I just got done interviewing with them, the interview process was such a PITA that by the end of it, I wouldn't have taken a job with them no matter the pay. You would def work more than 40 hrs a week too.

They'll send you to Northern Alberta right after you start. At least that is what happened to my friend.

I have a friend that worked for a company that was purchased by Kiewitt. He has had a lot of bait and switch in his career, a la, getting promised a certain area for work and then being sent somewhere less awesome. The one time he finally got to go where he wanted I think he got relocated fairly quickly.

To be fair though, I think you get a lot of that with any company in that industry.

My neighbor works for them. He works a solid 60-80 hours per week (salary, no OT and bonuses are ****) and I don't think he makes nearly enough to justify the demands or "rewards" of the job. This is his fourth location in 8 years, that sux for a family. I recommend you steer clear.

I used to work for them and yes they will move you every two to three years or more, aggressive work culture, extremely demanding and you will work most weekends. But they have an awesome stock program and competitive pay compared to the major constructioncompanies. Good place to get experience

from the people i have worked with that have worked with them...the work/life balance is way outta wack

I talked with someone who worked for them...he was happily married with two kids at the beginning...after a few years and a couple of moves...Divorced.

Good Luck to ya.

Worked for them since June and have been nothing but happy so far. Yes, you will work long hours/weekends and yes, you will most likely move around. But that's pretty much industry standard. (Gotta go where the work is and get the job done.) However, the benefits are excellent and the stock program is very lucrative.

Feel free to PM Me if you have any more specific questions
