One of my Oil and Gas Clients on the West side of Houston has requested assistance in bringing on an Accounting Clerk.

Job Tasks:
• Review and verify monthly invoices for accuracy and legitimacy
• Gather support documentation for all expenses, as needed
• Maintain and update logs and files for tracking and informational purposes
• Prepare periodic and non-standard reports
• Perform filing and general administrative tasks
Desired Skills:
• Position is highly clerical
• Requires exposure to bookkeeping – with some work experience, but an accounting degree is not needed
• Job experience with international companies is preferred, but not required
• Requires good organizational skills and accurate execution
• Great attention to details
• Must be able to follow instruction without a lot of additional supervision
• Self-motivated
• Proficient with MS Excel
