What about applying for an internship that requires a 3.0 if yours is a 2.75? Is there any point in applying?

haha I had a 2.2 when I applied for my 3.0+ internship. I somehow was the only one who applied so I managed to get it. My letter of recommendation from them says I'm the best they have had in 8 years so I guess its always worth trying.

GPA's can be low for many reasons, family problems, being in a major that is not suited for you,to much playing around, and so on. Your GPA is not alway a good determining factor to how you will do the job.
