basically i did poorly on the test and it was pretty tough. we only have 3 tests including the final exam. this one was worth 25% of our grade. i almost got a D but i didnt. im kinda freakin out. is this a good time to use a Q-drop or no?
No one can tell you because we don't know you. It depends on how much you plan on studying for the class in the future and how many difficult classes you have left.

Before you do anything, go talk to the prof. Find out if all the tests are going to be that hard or if the first one is the hardest. Now that you know the style of the tests, you can study better for the next ones. Did you study much for this one? But I would wait before you make any decisions. What poli sci is it?
are we talking about a polysci 207/208 class? because if we are then i think you have bigger problems. those classes are not hard. If you almost got a d but didn't does that mean you made like a 60? you should still be able to pull that up to a passing grade, but next time at least read the book or something because those concepts are not that difficult
Are you talking about POLS 207 with Dixon? I'm in that class too and it is way to hard for a lower level course. The first two tests have had a class average of a C *after the curve*.
I only had like 1 class where the average was above a C. What on earth major are you doing where you expect the class average to be a B? I swear. You've got to be kidding.
