I am starting a peer advising committee in my organization and I wanted to know if any of you all knew of any good GPR boosting courses.

It's open to all majors and classifications.

Please note prof name if possible but not mandatory.

It's a business society so some good business school prof advice would be helpful too. Thing is... our organization is open to all majors.

Chem 101/102, Biology 111/112, Music 101, Music 384 (I think that's what it was, Cultural Music or Music of the World or something like that).

ANSC 107/108--must be taken together
BIMS 101--attendance is like 20% of the grade
PSYC 107--I'm at a loss why people think this class is difficult
PSYC I forget the number--Psychology of Women--if you go to class, Dr. Copeland will reward you by making some assignments not mandatory for those who went to class

ummm, I was a BIMS major. those were the only classes I had that were easy As.

some PSYC profs make the class hard.

I got some advice.

History with Betty. Attendance was 20% too. (this was in 2005 however it may be different)

Never take MGMT 211 and any ACCT/FIN 341 together.

Take your lower level ACCT somewhere else unless you are/plan to be a FINC or ACCT major
(This may hurt with the CBK Finc 341 but I managed a B I took it in the Summer though

That reminds me... Take FINC 341 in the SUMMER!

Music 200 level class. It was History of Jazz. The prof was Lieuwen or something like that. Anyway... He gave everyone a 100 on the project and it was worth like a third of the grade. There were some projects I would have given a C but everyone got an A.

I second RENR 201 though. Dr Hodges is a cool guy and the assignments aren't really due until the very end of the semester. Plus they're really easy.

MGMT 105 Welch (If you dont make an A in here, you dont belong at A&M). Have to be U1 or U2

ANTH 205 Halligen(anyone is probably fine though) If you go to class and read and study for maybe an hour and a half for every test, youll get an A.

As far as profs, anyone that has to take ACCT 229 here should take Barrett. Shes not "easy", but shes an awesome prof. You learn the stuff, and for finance and accounting majors that is important.

Adkisson for FINC 421 im in right now, she is awesome.

Neither of these classes are easy by any means, but those are 2 profs that have stood out so far to me. Since you said business school I thought that may be useful to you.

how are outley's test im in that class right now and dont know what to expect

Chemistry 107 (You can sleepwalk through the labs, the quizzes are nothing but converting units and silly multiple choice questions, and the tests are the same with different numbers and units every year)

POLS 206/207 (The notes and book are the test to a T, dont even bother going to class)

All the engineering intro classes, 100% attendence based

ENGR 212,MATH 152,PHYS 222,...... the list goes on and on...
