Chris... I don't have a clue about the PPA admin process other than my wife went through it many years ago. She's old Haha!!

As you will learn, hopefully sooner rather than later, relationships matter. There is bound to be a councilor you can ask this type of stuff about. More importantly, look into the program and find out who makes those decisions. Probably profs and some you may already know. Go talk to them. Build a relationship.

If they know your name when that app comes across it cannot hurt.

Best decision I ever made was finishing my undergrad business degree and going directly into the workforce. Went back for MBA years later and have been very happy where I landed.

If you're not dead set on public accounting, don't feel like PPA is a must. Too many Aggies go into it because it's a safe option without knowing it's really what they want to do.

Also, if ACCT 327 doesn't click for you for whatever reason, don't put yourself through misery by forcing yourself to do PPA

The options to make it in when I did were:

- Have good grades, be somewhat involved, and make an A or B in Acct 327.

OR

- Have decent grades, be extremely involved on campus, and make a C in Acct 327.
