Getting transcript when in debt

How long do you want to ignore this user?
Hello,
I'm a 2019 grad. I am also a teacher. I moved to a different school district and need my official transcript but apparently I owe A&M $8k for an emergency tuition loan. I can not get my transcript until this is paid. I already emailed and asked but they said I still need to pay half before getting my transcript. Which I can't do. Now I don't have a job because I already resigned from my first district.
Any advice on what to do? How do I get my transcript if I owe A&M? The district is only giving me 30 days to figure it out.

Credit card? I mean if you owe the money and that is what their terms are…

Honest question, did your previous district require a transcript? If so, get that one back from their HR or whoever at the admin. building who handles employee records. Since you are leaving there is no reason for them to keep, this is coming from someone with 10 years experience as a school admin.

Have you tried SoFi? A quick look on the website shows they do personal loans, I have absolutely no affiliation with them, never had a loan with them, just trying to help.

This reads as though you are surprised about it. If you don't think you owe it, hopefully you can work it out with A&M fairly easily. Good luck
