How long do you want to ignore this user?
How long after graduation does your TAMU account last? I graduated in August 2011 from grad school and my account is still good.

a simple google search (and no BMEN skills were utilized, mister) yielded this:

so what are you up to these days?

Why in the world would you still use this. You need to set up a real world account and transition to it. It looks much better for recruiting, and you wont' have to worry about a transition later.

My wife graduated 4 years ago and just got a notice on her old account she never used...apparently A&M owes her $6.00

Oh the possibilities!

I graduated (again) in 2010 and just got a notice that my A&M email is closing.

"Dear [Cheer]:

Our records show that you are a former student of Texas A&M University
who has not enrolled in classes for at least two years. As a result, your
NetID and your @tamu.edu email address(es) are scheduled to be deleted
in three months."

Texas A&M Email (Neo) accounts continue to exist six months after a student leaves the university. After the first six months, a former student may choose to forward their email account to a non-TAMU address. After two years, all Texas A&M Email (Neo) account information will be deleted.

For more information, visit http://hdc.tamu.edu/Connecting/Email/TAMU_Email/Former_Student_Email_Information.php.

@AggieNetwork.com email addresses never expire, you can create custom aliases, the system uses the Gmail interface, and it is completely free.

It's a pretty good tool. Check it out:
