Howdy everyone,

I am looking to take some ECEN summer courses to stay on track for my electrical engineering degree plan. I looked and they are 10 week courses, basically the whole summer. I am not sure if I should do 1 or 2 summer classes since I am not sure about the rigor of the courses here during the summer (I just transferred in this semester so I am still learning the ropes). Any input would be greatly appreciated from y'all!

Thanks.

Two ECEN classes in 10 weeks? I'd say it'd be pretty rigorous dude. But you're an engineer and should be used to it by now. You'll do fine.

Well I was also thinking one ECEN course and Math 311/ISEN 302 if available so I can get those out of the way. Again, not sure if I'll be able to handle that load.

I took Math 308 as a 5 week, then Math 311 the second 5 week, plus ECEN 314 last summer. It takes some study time, but not really all that bad. I had a ton of free time on my hands i know that.

Thanks for answering!!!!! I think I'll take that ECEN 214 course and Math 311 in the second session. I am taking Math 308 right now.

One summer I took two 10 week summer ECEN classes (214 & 370) and a 5 week course during summer 1 and 2. It wasn't too rigorous. I was a 3.2 student and that summer I made like a 3.5. A 3 hour 10 week class will only meet three times a week but for 1:35.

Summer school is great but if you have a chance to do a summer internship, do that instead.
