When I was a sophomore and moved off campus, freshman that had way too many meals in our organization would buy me lunch at the MSC every Wednesday. I should probably send a thank note to their parents.

When they covered the cost by charging more/cutting services elsewhere.

LOL! i thought i was the only one getting the runs after eating at sbisa.
Good to see that nothing has changed since my last meal there in May '07.

Seriously, i had the meal plan for my freshman and sophomore years and it was not worth it.
I would recommend Aggie Bucks 100% but it seems that they are gone.

Sports are the most important of the least important.

Take the money that would normally be spent on dining dollars or meal-plans and put it on a prepaid Visa Debit card. Tell her the money on that card is for food and food only. Once it's gone, it's gone, and she's on her own for finding food. The benefits to this is she learns fiscal responsibility while having the freedom to dine anywhere (on AND off campus) with one card.
