Presidential voting pattern vs a midterm voting pattern.

So count me in the lane that I don't think there were shenanigans with the vote.
Just really think it's clear there are just that many people who should not have the right to vote because they are entirely too stoopid to make rational decisions.
The posts over the last couple of days prove this in spades.
People voted Democrat, because the Rs suck.Especially in Texas. I can't remember one thing Abbott did in the last 4 years. lots of talk, no action. Useless people.
While folks on here were touting economic numbers (the same number we didn't believe with the Biden administration) I had suggested that Trump was gonna take a beating because anecdotally, I knew several Texas A&M engineers who were jobless out of college.
4 of the 6 men in my Bible Study got laid off in the last year., all of us for the first time in our lives. I had a conservative worklplace, where no one was happy (******* boss - but none of us could move, because we couldn't find other jobs) Those were all bad signs.
And then Trump bombed Iran. And Bo French was worried about the racial makeup of the University of Texas.
Rs had it coming. They are ****ing worthless. I'd rather just start the socialism experiment because the Republican party is worthless and can't get anything done. Plus, having lived through socialism and Islamists before, I have been stocking up on ammo. Because that is how socialism will end
So a bad economy worldwide and emerging technology putting pressure on jobs means let's vote for socialism, no borders, and a party that's never done a single thing to fix anything you're complaining about.
Our electorate is dumb as *****
P.S. ICE is simply doing their job as written by laws passed by Congress. You aren't used to it because it hasn't been done correctly in years. Every single one of these illegals is a burden on our society, and every single one should be deported. They're all, literally, criminals.
ICE doesn't move the needle if you can't find a job.

The Republicans message of … the economy is fine, we aren't doing anything but the alternative is worse is not a very good one. There are many young voters who haven't experienced a truly bad economy, they are going to find out . We've never had so many politicians completely hostile to Tech.

And here it comes.
Every single time Republicans lose, it is always blamed on fraud.
If Texas was the only state to go left this time, might be something to it.
But it was almost every state in the country.
What a lazy reply. I asked a question that I'm trying to understand and literally said nothing about fraud. You went there for some reason as a deflection from being curious about the answer.
I don't know the answer or I would not have asked the question. If I thought it was fraud, I would have said this looks like fraud. But that is 100% not what I did.
I'm simply trying to understand who these new voters are. I have some potential ideas. How many new voters were not 18 years old in the previous election? So that would just be Texans who become of age in the last four or eight years. How many are people who have moved here? How many are just new voters who were untapped in previous elections?
See there. No fraud even discussed. That was your lazy response to a legitimate question.
True…….you didn't.
But perhaps he was referring to the guy you quoted. The "out of thin air" comment certainly had a ring of fraud implied in it.

It isn't the government's job to find a job for you.

The economy is fine in a lot of ways. Mine certainly is - we're having our best 2 years ever. People have to understand that AI is going to impact a lot of things. What exactly do you want a conservative government to do to help people get jobs when the cause isn't related to overregulation or other inhibitors to the free market?

It might be helpful to understand how the electorate in Texas has changed is the exercise.
The electorate has not changed that much in 2 years People getting off the couch to vote D and Rs staying home or voting D is the answer
The unapologetic attack on the Viting rights act was a bad idea outside of F16 the voting rights act is about a 65/35 issue
Rounding up laborers at Home Depot These guys are not
the " Worst of the Worst" they have friends and Family that are citizens who have now been motivated to become voters
Even the Trump Burger guy got snagged by ICE
Losing the Rogan Bros Trump got them off the couch then promptly did such a bad job he lost them in 2 years
Again the electorate did not change

Easy, it's Republicans who voted for Democrats.
The worst of the worst in today's society are not the Dem wokesters, its the weak-kneed republicans who favor Santorum decorum over getting **** done.
The party of "gee willikers, john. They got us this time. If we get back to thumping that bible and outlawing mean tweets, we will surely win.
Mean tweets didn't lose the election. He's been doing that for over ten years.
Trump was an authoritarian loose cannon narcissist with dumb economic policies. The fault lies with the MAGA crowd who ignored all of his flaws because, heh heh heh, Trump make a funny and owned the libs.
The only reason this hasn't happened sooner is because he happened to be president during an industrial/technical revolution on par with the railroads, electricity and internet.
If only you'd shown this much outrage over the Dems choices for leaders who had far worse economic policies.

Elon spent $10s of millions of dollars in Texas and still got outsmarted? His company owns Grok.
Are Republicans really that stupid or were they double crossed by the safe guards they thought were in place?
I vote naive and stupid for being so naive

Another example of Democrats getting new voters was the DJ system. For the last two years, there has been a concerted effort by DJs playing clubs to register new voters.
Several prominent DJs signed up to be Volunteer Deputy Registrars. They would hold voter registration drives at the clubs where they were playing their sets. Not only was this an effective way to get lots of new voters registered, they were able to target low propensity voters who may not have been reached elsewhere.
Once word got around, the program spread like wildfire to other DJs in cities across the state. They were able to coordinate with local Democrat orgs and be brought into the fold as part of a greater strategy

A huge factor was the Latino vote that switched massively away from Trump due to his immigration police harassment of everyone who was brown.

It's all public information.
Who voted in the election on Tuesday is public record. How they voted is not.
If these people came out of thin air, someone will eventually figure that out.

Do I seem mad? DJs signing up to be Volunteer Deputy Registrars and then making a difference by registering clubbers who then actually went to vote is a hilarious fantasy. There are many explanations for what happened but you actually believing this to be true is great.
