There are a significant number of NFL and CFB stars that are conservative. Football is the epitome of conservatism...teamwork, get what you earn, work your way to the top, work while no one else is watching, your as strong as your weakest link, etc....

Where does Johnny fit in what you describe?

I love the guy, but in reality Johnny didn't put in the work and wasted a ton of opportunities.

Loved Johnny on Kyle Field. Unfortunately, have not cared for just about everything I've seen since he left. He's a bigger liability than a crowd draw at this point.

I'm happy to have anyone and everyone vote Republican. But if the objective is to motivate undecided or apathetic voters, I don't see this moving the needle at all.

Thanks for posting this. Mods zapped mine yesterday. I think it is a good strategy to bring JFF, McCoy and Amendola out to generate votes from the portion of large fan bases most likely to vote R if they get to the polls.

I can't imagine being so minimally informed about the candidates or so disengaged with politics in general, for any hyperbolic advertisement or rally or "celebrity" to help me decide who to vote for.

The candidates and their parties are as drastically opposite as they've ever been ideologically.

It is interesting though to see that these guys are R's.
