Shoulda done those "very bad things". His voters were chomping at the bit on these specific points, and were left hanging.

Now he needs to make sure he is protected should the pendulum swing the other way. It was never about cleaning up Washington, it was about "winning" and getting his way. Did some good come out of it? Sure, in many people's opinions. Did it outweigh the bad? Time will tell.

He's certainly in the crosshairs. You can't purge all of the far left wing social engineering that he's done without repercussions by the far left Democrats.

I don't much care about what they did but by the letter of the law, both US and international, what was done was highly suspect at best. It was summary execution of alleged criminals without actual conviction and they were not soldiers in a declared war. It was effectively state-sponsored vigilantism against parties who likely would garner very little sympathy.

Technically, maybe so. But, I also don't really care. That's at least a more valid angle than lying about what they are which is what the Democrats on here have done.

I'm totally fine with ending someone that holds an immediate threat to the safety of others. Those dudes were just running drugs in a boat 1000s of miles away from the US border.

If the story is true that the navy hit them once, they survived, then the navy was ordered to kill them while they were floating in the water, that's an issue (especially if there is video)......

Who knows what the truth is?

All we know is that, we will hear all about it in 2027 if the Dems take house and Senate. Hint: the video in OP with Trump openly betraying MAGA isn't going to help secure a Rep victory.....

Like I said, it's a highly unsympathetic target and the Trump administration can just say "they were drug runners and we're protecting American lives by preventing dangerous drugs from reaching our shores" and while what they were doing was likely illegal, who really cares other than political opponents looking to damage the president?
