This is wrong on so many levels, imo.

ETA - Officially this is coming from a fund to improve Part B (Medicare). Still don't like it and would be upset if Biden or Obama had done this. But, alas for Rocky, I will keep it.

Apparently, to some, it is OK for the government to take more and more of your money, but not to ever lighten the load on you.

I remember when economic growth was important. And of course it still is but some don't want to talk about it. You keeping more of your own money is certainly and will always be a good thing.

Sorry, not on TXAGS so much anymore.

Raiding/ repurposing fund for improving Medicare, in order to send checks to seniors the month before an election is not ethical, imo.

Imagine Biden repurposed funds for improving some minority focused program to send a check to all households receiving federal housing support.

I would not be in favor of that, either. Would you?

Higher-income beneficiaries who pay an Income-Related Monthly Adjustment Amount (IRMAA) do not qualify.

Another means tested rebate. People who pay more for part B are excluded. Very "progressive income" in nature.

Just another "buy the vote" move by a populist idiot.
