$1,600 for a permit for a Constitutional right. It's the equivalent of a poll tax for voter, and should get struck down.

That figure is JUST the application FEE.

Got my fingerprints done Tuesday….application and all that a few weeks before….think grand total spent on class, app fee, and fingerprints was about $150 out the door and that's assuredly rounding up (likely closer 120)….

Now just waiting on card

I will say….the proficiency test is way too dang easy….

Had a few folks in my class hitting EVERYWHERE at 3 yards and i was thinking no way you pass….yup still passed….hitting 250/250 is nothing to brag about on this thing at all….

Of course. Progressive leftists detest the notion of freedom, personal liberty, and Constitutionally-protected rights. Liberty is scary and we all need Daddy Gubmint to hold our hands to get through the day.
