Here's the thing. If I were to go live in Italy or Russia or Thailand for the rest of my life, and I just never chose to learn their language that makes me a pretty big piece of crap. Always expecting people to bow down to me. I think many of them understand it more than they're willing to admit, but I think it's just pure arrogance to not learn the language of the country you're planning to live in the rest of your freaking life.

Also, I vacation at many places around the world and sometimes even by the end of a week or two trip. I have picked up a lot of words. You can't tell me you can't learn it.

I guess this answers the question of if we live in a simulation or not

Yes. Common courtesy is "when in Rome". If I choose to live somewhere else, I'm going to learn the native language post haste and not try to change local culture. It's also why I'm not going to visit countries with inferior cultures.

But the left has built this expectation here that all cultures are equal and we should accept everyone and not have them assimilate.

Time to start employing random English language tests to all green card holders. If you fail then bye bye.
