An interesting woman who while being politically neutral in public, maintained a conservative, down to earth view of the world as shown by Dollywood, her desire to help people and most of her art. Did she have some liberal views, yes but overall she always seemed to be a wholesome lady. She will be missed.

Legend.

She was one of the kindest ambassadors in the history of American music.

She did it her way, and still managed to keep her faith and integrity intact. She had so many friends across the spectrum, more than any single artist IMO. We need more like her.

I recall when Glen Campbell passed. She had some really nice things to say about him. Not that I was much of a fan of his, but I thought her comments were extremely thoughtful and she deserves the same treatment.

About as non-controversial a public figure that's been around for 50+ years, I'd say.

Nothing wrong with liberal views as long as those holding them don't expect me or anyone else to pay for them.
