Since Marlin Fitzwater was the last press secretary to serve a full term of the president, there has to be some suckitude or it leads to career heaven with even better jobs. Turnover seems to rival a fast food outlet.

Have to cash in on those opportunities when you're the visible face of an administration. Dems do it because they get a job with msnbc. Republicans do it because they tire of the meat grinder of that position.

Leavett aspires to become a full-time mother while there is still an opportunity to create a positive impact. I cannot fault her for that. She will be missed, though not by the liberal press corps at the White House.

It seems to be an extremely demanding job, but again ... it's a better job than 99% of the jobs out there. It pays very well, with off the charts down the road opportunities.

It'll be interesting to see who gets it next.

Jennings is too valuable on CNN handing those leftist idiots their heads on a platter.

I would try to lure McEnany back. I always enjoyed her thumbing through her binder after a stupid gotcha question and watching her eviscerate the reporter that asked the question. It's a short term gig, and she was fantastic.
