Well, please forgive me as my heart isn't into this today. Sadly, on Thursday morning, I found my pup, Willie, dead on the floor outside of my bedroom. He was sick for a while, but after giving the dogs Simparica for fleas and ticks two weeks ago, he stopped eating and refused to take his medicine. He even refused his favorite foods - cheese slices and bologna. Willie was very special to me. I found him on the street in 2015 and couldn't resist taking him home. He had a wonderful personality. Everything about him was a perfect fit for me and my other dogs. He will be sorely missed. I have a low sense of humor this morning, so as I arranged these last evening, I wondered if they were funny enough to post. You be the judge. I apologize for starting off on a sad note, but I just don't have the right feel this morning. I hope you enjoy this selection none-the-less.

It's tough to lose our dogs. Condolences for Willie. I lost mine earlier this year while I was on a Teams call for work. She passed right next to my desk, unbeknownst to me at the moment.

But thanks for the laughs. Today's collection had some real gems.

Another set of good ones.

Sorry about Willie! You were his world I am sure. I just lost the horse I bought my daughter when she was 10 (they both were actually). When our pets live with us as long as Willie and Tex did, they hold a special place in our lives.

My heart is heavy and I am sorry for your loss of your companion.
Dogs are the greatest species for unconditional love and it's very difficult to lose them.
As much as we think we can prepare for it, the pain doesn't subside
but the memories and love will last forever.
