I would be surprised if November is a bloodbath for republicans. Too many of the democrats running against the republicans are horrific candidates. Talancrio is a joke! At least as bad as Beto and probably worse. An actual Nazi is running against Susan Collins in Maine. Not only does he have a big Nazi tattoo but he has an assault history against women. When he registered to run for the senate he also made up his fake job of being an "Oyster Man"and he's a habitual liar.

Several states run exclusively by democrats for decades are failing with their tax base leaving. What winning policies are democrats running on? I can't think of a single one! Their policies are insane and their results are collapse and decay and people fleeing.

Frankly I'm not sure democrats would win any elections were it not for the fraud of non citizens voting and ballot harvesting, fake absentee ballots, just printing fake ballots and pulling them out from under tables at 3 AM after sending everyone home due to a fake plumbing problem.

Guess I should be jealous? Stations in Idaho have dropped 10-15 cents per gallon for regular the last 2 days or so, some stations are still flat. Overall pretty stable around $4.40 right now in most parts around my home. High was around $4.55.

That 3% drop certainly is exciting, especially since I'm leaving on a 3 week trip in the trailer in a couple weeks.

Gas 3.57 in Kingwood at heb, iirc was 3.89 at the high several months ago. And I haven't forgotten that gas was 1.87 in Jan 2021 when Joe Xiden became president

Down to 3.13 at Murphys in Burleson yesterday. Was 3.47 last Friday. Hopefully it will below 3 at some stations pretty soon.

They've been coming down for almost two weeks now.

At their peak, gas was $3.89 and now it's down to $3.62.

Still over a buck fifty more than I was paying a few months back, but less is less and I'll take it.

Now to get back down to the baseline.

By me, in SA it got up to 4.199. Is down to 3.529, I believe.

Going down meant it went up. For whatever reason.

Yep....it goes up 50 cents/gallon overnight and then comes down 2 cents/gallon at spaced out intervals over a month or two for a total 20 cent/gallon reduction. Then it will go up another 50 cents overnight.....rinse and repeat ....rinse and repeat. It's how the price goes from the $1.87 price mentioned earlier to the $4 plus price two weeks ago. It's been going on since the early 70's

It's going to be almost impossible to make a deal without assets being unfrozen
Things are going to have to get a great deal worse before both sides decide that they can find a compromise on that point

If it goes below $3* we are in a full blown recession not sure you should be rooting for $3 unleaded

* when I say below $3 I mean regular gas stations statewide

the Shell Station on Memorial and the loop (IYKYK) will never be below $3 and the Murphy in certain parts of Texas will always be .20 cents cheaper than the statewide average and those locations are not the average

For those who have a 7-Eleven nearby, my cousin told me that they're having 50 cents off a gallon on the 7th and 11th this month.
