I love that. Fact is, the 250th was going to be a big deal regardless of which side's guy was in office, and it should be celebrated as such by all, full stop.

Before social media that lineup would've stood and life would've gone on for everyone, but when any idiot can say anything they want, even something as benign as an artist wanting to be part of something special, goes sideways.

Agree with this. The artists aren't being specific about what they were told originally vs what changed only saying its an apolitical event that became political. I suspect they weren't asked to bend the knee to Trump or go up there and preach "no open borders" but rather it got political because leftists doxxed the **** out of a lot of them because they agreed to perform in an event Trump was promoting.

Further, knowing the egos involved with celebrities, there was a lot of "look at all these has been washed up acts" feedback once the lineup was announced and some of them didn't want to be associated with that label.

Plenty of patriots to fi their place.

Lee Greenwood can headline them all with some Jason Aldean and Kid Rock.

I'll say this. If they could get both of them on stage, not even to sing but just to lip sync, that would be quite an accomplishment.

I'm sure there is already a giant 250 sign at Wolf Trap. Just throw some more flags up and say that was the main venue all along. Doesn't seem like they are having trouble booking acts.

I don't understand why "name" acts had to be involved in the first place. It would have been alot easier to just get a few really good cover bands to get up there and play the hits of American bands of the 70s and 80s and 90s. Eagles, Aerosmith, Van Halen, Garth, etc.
