*it's their "City Connect" series uniform (whatever that means). Essentially it's an alternate uniform they'll wear a few times this season to try to sell more merchandise.

That's it, just another money grab

Don't mind the Tejas. Could have added gold or silver or blue so the jersey isn't the exact same as division rival the Angels' alternate red jersey. Most of these City Connects are poorly done, add another to the list.

95% of the "City Connect" uniforms suck. This actually is better than the Rangers previous one, which isn't saying much.

Rangers, don't bring your "B" game when it comes to pandering for the ole dolar. Now do the other 10 to 20 languages and ethnicities in Tejas, or are they not worth pandering to? When it comes to business and commies, they just can't pass up taking a group of homogenious people and subdividing them into competing factions that have nothing in common, want nothing to do with each other, and have no common sense of community.
I am sure the Rangers will let these Hispanics when they show up at a game pay the gate price in pesos instead of dollars, right??!!

Not the greatest ad imho but I have no issue with advertisers/companies marketing to hispanics, least of all in Texas. Frankly, sports teams would be stupid not to do so.

Yep. Lots of Hispanics and they love baseball. Its been this way for years here in Texas. Those that have a problem over a sports ad targeting a main base need to get their souls checked out.

I was born out of state but I guarantee you I was here before about 97% of the living hispanics in this state got here. If you eliminated every hispanic who immigrated here after 1980, the remainder would probably be 15% of the state population.
