This country will never be what it was.

And why should Muslims assimilate when we have little Havanas, Chinatown's, multiple Hispanic communities, Somalis taking over Minnesota, and many more ethnic communities all over this country where English is the second language or not spoken at all.

We are not the "melting pot" that so many have thought and we never have been.

However, the main difference between the Muslim "hordes" that have invaded us is that other ethnic communities have been tolerant as to our way of life while Muslims are not.

It's just a matter of mathematical progression - Muslim population is growing much faster and larger in America now. 5-6 children families having 5-6 children families every 25 years.

The upper Midwest is already seeing the numbers changing - Minnesota, Michigan, Illinois. Wisconsin.

Sadly, it will just be a matter of time and will occur during my grandchildren's lifetime. (2070 or so). My wife and I will be long gone before it occurs but our descendants in the last portion of the 21st century will not even remember what America was like in the 20th Century.

Sadder - I might live to see this occur in Europe because they are on a faster path to that outcome.

They do it when the schools are still majority American, where they shop is American, when their after-school activities are majority American. When that's not the case, they won't. We are there in many cities.

This is simple psychology. When groups of white people move to Asia, do they assimilate? Not really. They try to merge in and not stand out and not make asses of themselves. But is that assimilation? Maybe, not not fully.

The overlying culture has to stay American. That is why I am not happy with local governments celebrating religious holidays of other countries like Ramadan, Diwali, etc etc. Not needed. Let people who want to do it have their own events. Yes, Christmas is the local culture. If people don't like it, tough, they can leave.

I'm not even going to go that far.

The short answer is no, they don't assimilate. By and large they hang out exclusively with expat groups because they are all there for a short time and/or have no interest in assimilating with the indigenous population.

The exception would be single white men who are in SE Asia for the purpose of women. They assimilate but it's primarily so they can get more ladies.

Yep. I saw it when I was in Germany last year. Random white girls (usually overweight) wearing head coverings - even at a time that it is no longer required in Saudi Arabia. But white German girls are signing up for this of their own free will.

This has been the problem since the 1960's when the left's ideology came to the forefront. I remember taking some required racial bull**** course in college and the instructor said not to think of us as a melting pot anymore but as a mixed salad, where all the ingredients stand out on their own instead of becoming one. This was in the 80's so it was fully being manifested then and had been for years.

I hate Islam with a passion and dislike Muslims in general (except some good friends I have whom I know for a long time).

But let's be honest. Muslim men are "manly" and have masculine traits. I hate to have to say this but I can't lie. They have a devil-may-care attitude which women find exhilarating. They also are take it or leave it, and my way or the highway. They don't give an F about feminism (and women actually like it!).
