The first thing to realize about Russia's invasion of Ukraine was that it was about regime security. Meaning the war was going to happen no matter what we did. It's also why we can't actually stop it without forcing Ukraine to agree to unacceptable terms to them. But that requires a deep discussion about why Putin needed the war and what he's actually trying to do, rather than the latest conspiracy posted on the internet. People and countries in this world have their own agency. Anything that ignores that and tries to make it American centric for no reason is most likely wrong.

You should listen to the video. It's about 20 minutes long starts at the 50 minute mark. This goes back to Obama administration

I think this is mostly true. We wanted this war (MIC and CIA etc..). This has been known for years that Ukraine had to remain neutral. We kicked a hornets nest when we backed the coup that put in a US backed goverment and started talking NATO (We openly admit this). There was no good reason to do it.

Ultimately the world would be much safer if Russia were not pushed into weird alliances with IRAN and CHINA. Europe/The West is a much more natural ally in todays world and our diplomacy should reflect it.

Explains why party animal Hunter was stationed in Ukraine as the bribe conduit for the Bidens. How much did Obama receive? The Clintons? Who else?

That said, it was known by us, the rest of the world and Russia, that Ukraine had to remain neutral or a conflict would break out

Russia would probably like it Soviet borders back.

The reality of doing that obviously stop that from happening

$400 billion spent should've stopped us from doing it.

As an Orthodox Christian, I am particularly bothered by our governments, constant meddling in areas that lead to the direct deaths of hundreds of thousands (minimum) Orthodox Christians.

While I'm not claiming U.S. foreign policy as being "anti-Orthodox," there is a documented pattern of interventions where geopolitical goals have directly clashed with the interests, safety, and cultural heritage of Orthodox Christian populations.

The Balkans (we sided with the Muslims because Yugoslavia was communist and wanted to harm the government )

Iraq / Syria (90% reduction in Christian population)

Turkey (siding with Turkey over Armenia)

Russia and Ukraine (1.6 million casualties).

I don't know. What did Trump do from 2017 to 2021 to stop it? In terms of bodies to throw at this thing they were better off doing this in 2017 or 2018 yet they didn't. Why not? We'll never know but there was something that prevented it and big picture the only change was the occupant of the White House. It's worth noting that Trump is the only president since the wall fell that didn't watch Russia invade a neighbor. Why is that?
