My favorite are the latinos fervently lamenting Christopher Columbus and the discovery of the New World and all of the colonization that followed. Unless they are of 100% pure indigenoeous blood, which is probably the vast minority of mexicans, central and south americans, THEY WOULD NOT EVEN EXIST HAD IT NOT BEEN FOR THIS.

Much like black Americans, we (since I'm a half-breed brown) have been lucky to be born in the U.S., the most impactful and prolific country in the history of ever.

"Empire of the Summer Moon". Must read to understand the Commanche. Absolutely brutal.
