Saw some video today of people on the street in Iran that are upset about the bombing of infrastructure. Constant bombing makes the population rally around their leaders, regardless of how bad they are.
That's part of the reason that we've been so selective - to date - about our pinpoint attack against Iran's military assets. It's made a huge impact. But they still have not stopped their retaliation. Thus, the next phase of attacks have been announced.
look - I'm certain there are good/decent people just living their lives in Iran who only understand what the terrorist controlled state media tells them. Their understanding of the world is a mere fraction of the truth. This was also the case in Palestine. Unfortunately, the 'leaders' in both cases are extremists who cannot be trusted - it's a tough situation for sure. If their 'brother nations' would join the fight to keep them in check, they might be more likely to negotiate in good faith. But since they all follow the same prayer call five time a day, the western (Christian) world will always be the enemy - either a trusted enemy (similar to our relationship with Saudi, UAE, Qatar) or the hated enemy (like our relationship with Iran, Iraq, Yemen). While the United States see Iran as a great threat to the world, the Arab Nations see them as the crazy uncle who got drunk at the family reunion.
