The Israeli government has already apologized and it seems to have been a misunderstanding from the security staff.

Wow. Should we do that to New York too if the Muslims start raising hell there? Make every country give up their most important city if that city sees too much sectarian strife.

Israel is ok with killing Christians and taking their land, so this is actually less extreme than their typical approach, but not surprising. It's unfortunate the Israeli government controls such important Christian holy sites and treats Christians with such contempt.

I think it only became a "misunderstanding" after word got out about the shenanigans they were trying to pull. Glad Huckabee had the stones to actually defend Christians and not the Israeli government in this instance.

If you're not a Christian, then it is a historical site, and nothing more. If you are a Christian, then it is cool to walk the places Jesus walked, but we know he is a risen savior, not confined to a city in Israel.
