The United States of America already admits more legal immigrants than any other nation on the planet by far. In northeast Austin or Pflugerville, a D means you're a good guy, with zero Fs given about how messed up and crazy you actually are.

View this through the lens of a father/son relationship.

I love my son. And I won't judge him if he makes mistakes. But I'll certainly make sure he recognizes those mistakes, and help him to course-correct. That's love, without judgement.

Ignoring his mistakes, to the detriment of him and those around him, and enabling/allowing it to continue?...that's not loving at all.

That same thing applies to all our relationships (neighbors).
