Trump demanded lawmakers "stand up and show your support" for prioritizing the protection of citizens over illegal immigrants. Democrats remained seated. One thing a lot of folks forget is Trump is not on the ballot.. and a lot of swing voters aren't voting against him cause Orange man bad… I have friends who I guess are considered swing voters. And the only time they vote democrat is when trump is on the ballot.

Setting aside historical norms of mid-terms which already point to the House flipping, MANY conservatives are flat out disillusioned because of the lack of prosecution for the last four years of Democrat treason. They are pissed at how poorly the entire Trump Admin has handled the Epstein files/cases. People in general are pissed at the thought of yet another sandbox war, this time with Iran. Hardcore voters, like most of us here, will get out there and vote, but there is a great deal of apathy for Republicans right now, and it's their own making.

My hope for the Senate race is that swing voters that hate Trump will vote for whoever gets the GOP nod. The problem is that Talerico has charisma and is gaining momentum. Thinking that he has no chance of winning is ignoring what's happening.
