I live in Boston and it's much more civilized. You shovel your own sidewalk and your own parking spot. No ID required. Once you shovel your parking spot you put a cute totem in your spot to save it. When someone moves your cute totem and takes your parking spot you are legally allowed to beat them to death with a snow shovel. The system works well.

Let's guess how much fraud there will be.

I picture "no show" jobs as depicted in the Sopranos.

So if you are a good enough employee to simply show up to work for the FIRST week you get a 50% raise. Wow.

I wonder how many of these (currently unemployed) people will then claim back injuries, thus permanently disabled and be compensated for life? The quick fix for NYC ends up costing billions.

I own a snow shovel and live south of Houston. Twice a year my oaks drop all their leafs and it's 35+ bags each time. Snow shovel works great.

uhh that's overtime pay at time and half after reaching 40 hrs

I see some good opportunities in the summer for the Somalis when Commdami starts a citizen rat catching program amongst the runaway piles of street garbage. They get their dozens of trained rats that they can turn in to get paid only to release them back for the next day.
