Bexar County Judge Rosie Speedlin Gonzalez

Judge out of Bexar County, whose many achievements include receiving the LGBTQ+ Individual Leadership Award from the Texas Diversity Council as well as the Political Icon Award by the PRIDE Center. She used to display a pride flag in OUR courtroom. Oh, and she tried to carry a handgun through a San Antonio airport in 2022, but no charges were filed.

So why are we talking about this lovely lady? WELL, yesterday she was arraigned on felony charges of unlawful restraint by a peace officer or judge and official oppression, a Class A misdemeanor.

Of course, she is still getting paid, but her caseload is being pushed on other judges. A sitting judge is being charged with a FELONY. Wild.
