" In an exclusive shared with The Hollywood Reporter, NFL executives announced that YouTube sensation Dhar Mann, 41, has been named the league's first-ever Chief Kindness Officer. Mann also serves as the league's "Creator of the Week" leading up to the big game."

" As part of the lead-up to Super Bowl LX, Dhar Mann has been tapped to partner with the NFL to help deliver the league's "Be Nice to Your Rival" campaign. The campaign is a social initiative that invites fans to get in the game by showing kindness toward a rival. Whether it's an opposing fan base, a player, or even a rivalry beyond the game itself, fans can participate by performing a real-world act of generosity or sharing a positive message about their rival and posting it on social media."

How have we come this far without CKOs? Just think of the additional titles Jimmy Johnson or Vince Lombardi could have won by being nice to their rivals. Patton would have shortened the war in Europe by years with his "Be nice to a Nazi" campaign.

Between this and the halftime show I think I might just stream old Battlebots episodes during the game.

Great hire by the NFL! Another Indian scammer. Bat signal for InifinitAg:

Quote:

In 2012, Mann was charged with thirteen felony counts of fraud for allegedly defrauding a city beautification program while operating his real estate company MannEdge Properties in 2008 and 2009. Prosecutors reduced the charges to five felony counts in August 2013, and later that year Mann pled no contest to the five counts. He was sentenced to five years of probation and ordered to pay a $10,000 fine and restitution.

This might be the dumbest in a long line of stupid things the NFL has done over the past decade.

Maybe they should make every NFL venue offer safe spaces and crying rooms when the game stress gets to be too much.

So the NFL believes they can socially engineer people by employing a YouTuber to teach people to share positive messages?

I'm not really an NFL fan these days, but I do usually watch the Super Bowl.

It's like the NFL is bound and determined to chase me away. "He's still watching, even after all the kneeling and end zone slogans? Let's put a Spanish-speaking guy in a dress at halftime and show videos from our Chief Kindness Officer during time outs. That should do it."

I dont know if you guys have been to an NFL game recently, but some of the crowd has gotten.....rough.

The NFL has taken some heat, for the fighting and violence between fan bases.

I think this is a CYA move, so they can say, 'see, we're doing something', in case they face a lawsuit.

I had two season tickets to the Texans their first year. I took turns taking my kids. Never again. The crowds were terrible -- drunks fighting, people cursing, shoving each other to get to the beer guy. I canceled after one season.

And in some areas, it's worse than Houston.

That's all this hire is. Just a way to show they're doing something about it. I would think knowing it's a problem, and ignoring it, leaves them open to liability.

So... a sports league, one that is predicated on absolute violence, thinks "Hey ... You know what would draw in more fans? Some ghey-ass bull**** ."?

LOL

I already don't watch pro sports, but damn....that's Bud Light stupid.

My sister is letting her younger daughter go to tu (older one at Arkansas, don't care) next fall and they're paying for everything, including sorority BS.

Both my sis and her husband are Ags, and I even gave her a hug when I ran into her at HEB earlier. That has to count as a love your rival thing right?

You make it seem like they're already not planning on those, and other even more idiotic ideas, for the next Super Bowl.

Just when you think the left can't get even more f'ktarded, they say, "Hold my beer."

Completely absurd. And then they hire an Indian with felony charges!! A demographic that doesn't even play the sport who is a criminal!

Man I gave up the NFL, fantasy football, the whole lot of it 5 years ago when they called me a racist and rapist for simply being a hetero white male. I made one exception each year and watched the Superbowl because I saw it as a family event, meaning my wife never watched NFL football, but would always join in the Superbowl for the snacks, etc.

With this crap, I may have to dump the Superbowl as well.....State reps need to extend deer hunting until Presidents Day.

My friend and I tailgated at the NRG Park for the 49ers vs Texans game on 10/26/25. I tried to buy two tickets on Ticketmaster on the day of the game, but I kept getting kicked out. We ended up going to a tailgate. I did not notice any fighting outside, but I wasn't inside the NRG stadium.

I have been watching NFL games since 1999, and I think hiring a Chief Kindness Officer is the dumbest and most wasteful thing the NFL has ever done.

Let me know when this guy has a video of himself wearing the opposing team's jersey at any New England sporting event and then I'll watch. It can be the Patriots, Red Sox, Bruins, or Celtics, totally his choice. It doesn't even need to be in the stadium, pretty much any local sports bar or pub will do as long as it's full of locals. Doing that will not only cause him to lose his sense of sportsmanship, but also lose faith in humanity.
