Perhaps it's just a pattern with protests, regardless of cause? The scenes I've seen of the old Tea Party protests during Obama, and more recently January 6 2021, showed almost exclusively the elderly, extremely obese, or both. I recall several January 6 protesters had heart attacks or strokes as a result of their obesity. There's probably a paper to be written here somewhere.
