That's not the argument you're making, because no one is disputing that. What you're arguing, even though you apparently don't realize it, is that this was an unjustified shoot and a violation of the dead guy's civil rights. There is a legal process in place to make that kind of a determination. Alternatively, you're arguing that to avoid the potential for "justified" shoots, ICE should simply not enforce the law and get out of MN or perhaps change tactics. If you're arguing for the latter, you're basically taking the position that lawlessness wins, because all that someone has to do is "protest" in a way that puts himself in danger, and the law enforcement won't actually enforce the law to protect the protestor himself. Of course, that's an untenable way for an ordered society to operate.
