Given the realities of Mamdani's NYC, the US DOJ needs to start rethinking where it opts to bring these international narco-terrorism indictments.

There is nothing special about SDNY, but now you have criminal case subject to a jury of Mamdani supporters in a district that…

SDNY is a relatively massive office, and he was indicted some time ago, all the way back in Trump '45's administration. Probably wasn't related to politics but where the nexus of the financial/data records collection effort was located.

Well, could be a big mistake. The libs might not convict because 1) they are Marxists and agree with him, and 2) they hate Trump.
Need to avoid all Marxist jurisdictions from now on.

Did they read him his Miranda rights?
Honestly, who cares. Let him rot in Gitmo

Why indict him in the liberal cesspool of NY vs TX, where most of his drugs have come into?
if we don't get him here, I am sure there is another country, maybe Argentina, that has him indicted there as well.Logos Stick said:Given the realities of Mamdani's NYC, the US DOJ needs to start rethinking where it opts to bring these international narco-terrorism indictments.

I imagine that Maduro wants to stay in the US jails/legal system as long as he can.

Oh please. The only way this goes haywire is if DOJ screws it up, and that won't happen here. The group that handles these types of cases aren't the Lindsay Halligan or Alina Habba types. They're seasoned attorneys that know what the **** they're doing.

I wouldn't argue that I prefer it not be there, but Mandan was elected in a 20 percent turnout election by foreign born voters in nyc proper. He doesn't really represent the full city nor greater SDNY area imho.

Let's say the DOJ has the best attorneys in the US and all the mountains of hard evidence they need. These jurors are the ones that just elected a socialist to lead them, do you really trust them to convict another socialist no matter the evidence? And do you trust the 92 year old judge that was in on the DJT persecution to run this properly? Seriously?

With any luck, it will drive Mandami to do something performative and illegal so they can arrest his ass, too.

Absolutely.
The SDNY will rig the trial, which is why we picked them for this case. Logically, SDNY makes little sense as the venue. https://t.co/RGKr85ML9Z

LoL, not surprised at your post.
This is a criminal case. At least one of the 12 jurors will be a Marxist who voted for Mamdani. Mamdani says the action was a violation of federal law. The odds of a mistrial are almost a lock.

The Biden administration had a $25MM bounty on Maduro before Trump doubled it. But sure, it's going to end up in a mistrial.
