You got it buddy.
I still support the good side. Thats what matters.
If you need to side with evil because having his name on the Kennedy center is too much for you, shows the depth of your convictions.
Have at it. You win. I concede the minor issue, indifferent etc are all completely different levels of engagement. Like how the eskimos have 150 words for snow.
I never said Trump shouldn't rename the building. I never said I oppose it. I simply observed that he clearly cares about it, which you now concede. But in your mind, that observation alone makes me "evil."
You've compared your support for this man to your relationship with Jesus and your wife. You've said opposing him means opposing God's will. And yet you couldn't even hold the line on the word "indifferent" without retreating, pivoting, and eventually conceding, all while insisting you were fighting some cosmic battle.
You've accused others of having "TDS." But who here couldn't have a calm conversation about a building name without making it about God's will? Who needed to cast a vocabulary correction as an attack from evil?
Deep down, you have to know that "he wants his name on the building" isn't a controversial take. It's just...obvious. The fact that you couldn't let that stand, and that your framework is so brittle a factual observation feels like giving ground to Satan, should tell you something.
If your faith in this man is so fragile that a factual observation about a building feels like an attack from evil, I'd reflect on what you've actually built your house on.
Take care.
