This comes after South Africans in their government were deliberately sabotaging the refugee processing, so much so that operations were moved to Kenya and other locations. They really don't want these Afrikaners to own anything or have any rights, but they don't want them to leave, either. It is amazing how backward that country has become after US interference in the 80s and 90s.

It is unclear at this point, but it doesn't appear that the processing site was at an embassy location.

That was my thought as well, but those details were not available. My guess would be that it was a non-embassy working site for processing refugee applicants.

Elon needs to finance an army, it wouldn't take much to reclaim proper ownership.
