I don't know the whole context of that clip, but he's not exactly expressing an original thought. Science fiction and comic books have had tons of stories about forms of Artificial Intelligence manifesting kinds of divine powers or acting as deity.

These threads always make me think of the Supreme Intelligence from Marvel Comics, or Adam Warlock.

Rogan is probably just vaguely recycling ideas he's heard nerds or Coast to Coast AM guests talk about, along w/ his positive spin for any Elon ideas.

Now that you put it that way, that's not that unlikely. Especially Coast to Coast at night on a drive. As you may know, the Supreme Intelligence was even shown in the Captain Marvel movie of Brie Larsen -- but of course changed.

Sounds like Rogan is trying to be philosophical. Lots of very good historic philosophers have been decreed insane, heretical, or any number of things to discredit there beliefs.

Rogan has had some theoretical physicists on before that have said the most likely explanation for life on earth is that we're all in a simulation (more likely than spontaneous life or evolution). Sounds like Joe has bought into that and ran with it.

I listen to a LOT of Joe Rogan and first, this clip was just a snippet of a longer conversation he had about this on one of his podcasts. Listen to the whole conversation before passing judgement.

Joe has recently said several times that he says Christianity is a good thing and I would say his attending another posters church as mentioned is showing in his podcasts and comments on Christianity.

He has become way more centrist or even Republican since moving to Texas.

He just likes to interview interesting people (whether you like or hate that person) and learn new things.

A lot of folks on this board are not nearly as open to learning new things or having different opinions and just are the headline reading click bait people that they themselves pontificate on.

I've only ever watched one episode of JRE and it was the Alex Jones episode which was just incredibly awesome and entertaining. Highly recommend.

And I think JRE's podcast is a great thing for everybody when he interviews legit guests because you from people who would otherwise be ignored or blackballed by the MSM.

Rogan needs to spend more time reading the Bible and less time doing drugs:

Jesus ascended to heaven from the Mount of Olives, which is just east of Jerusalem.

Scripture states that he will return in the same manner as he left.

Acts 1:11 says, "This same Jesus, who was taken from you into heaven, will come back in the same way you have seen Him go into heaven"

Rogan is just like all the others. He has to say crap from time to time to get attention and to keep people tuned in.
