I saw that earlier.
It's obviously a settlement or some form of go away quietly money.
But given his documented lies and the clear cut liability he exposed the university to I didn't understand it.

The Board of Regents are not the brightest people. Just my opinion.
Wish someone would buy out Albritton.
You have to admire the way he leveraged Albritton's email and phone call. Just put it in an email and quoted him, implying he had recorded the phone call and there was more to it.
Albritton needs to be canned and Welsh should have been canned too.

It was probably a part of his contract. We have a long history of writing ****ty contracts.

It sure makes you wonder if the public servants who have the authorization to pay out huge sums of public money to abject failures in a nonsensical manner are themselves participating in the payoffs.

I've thought this for years. No way people are THIS incompetent to hand out the stupid contracts we do. It has to be someone getting bankrolled on the backend.
