In Hays County there is a group of Democrats called KBAD. Kyle Buda Area Democrats. They are a group of majority white Democrats. They have been going after as they say "People of Color" who have voted for Trump or in any Republican race. They publicly scolded a Kyle City Council member who is Hispanic and voted for Trump. Also a hispanic Buda Council candidate. Also went against another Hispanic woman who voted Republican in 2020. The latest is an African American man running for Kyle council and who's Dad knows Trump and is involved in Washington.

Question is are there still underground DIXIECRATS in the state? Most Democrat organizations are not all white. You go to San Marcos and the Democrats are all mixed. Hays County was known to be pretty backwards until 20 years ago. KBAD seems to want to keep minorities under their thumb. There are white people in that organization thay have voted for Trump also but they dont publicly scold them.

What you are describing above isn't Dixiecrats, it's just standard hypocritical leftism. Claiming "we are anti-racist" followed by actions like telling hispanics or blacks how to think and vote.

The Dixiecrats as a political movement have been dead for a long time. Maybe there are still a handful of old timers around who want to return to the Dixiecrat ideas of states' rights and segregation but I doubt there are many and they have 0 influence with the national or state Democrat party.

Even the watered down version -- 'conservative' blue dog democrats has gone from 65 to 10 members of the house in 16 years.

Modern Dems are run by cat ladies, 'representatives' (exploiters) of urban poor who peddle fantasies about systemic racism, woke midwits, and variety of fringe special interest groups jockeying for special favors and recognition.

Of course there is. Abraham Lincoln forced them to rebrand 150 years ago. They now support open borders, higher property taxes and unfortunately Islam. Has nothing to do with skin color.
