If you're looking for a conservative university, consider a small niche university in a conservative state. Abiline Christian is a good example.

No Hillsdale on this list?

This list is laughable in that it excludes Hillsdale, as mentioned, and INCLUDES TCU.

Yep - TCU fought against Steven Crowder even being on campus.

Texas Tech by miles and miles. It reminds me so much of A&M in the 80's and early 90's minus the academic cred.

When my son was visiting schools, Oklahoma State was the same for us.

When my sister was at TAMU in the mid 2000s, I would have said A&M and tt were decisively far more conservative than tu.

But from what I read and see now - it seems to me that tt is more conservative than tamu now. And tu has fallen off the left cliff not once, but 10 more times.

We are a diploma mill now. What do you expect.

My oldest daughter went to CO School of Mines and now my middle daughter goes there. One of the many things I love about it is they don't give these kids enough time to care about politics in the form of activism. They care about their grades, future placement in jobs, and making money. You know…things you should care about when you're going to college.

I have a young cousin following up his bachelor's degree there with masters work. Nothing but positive experiences. And a good Christian environment.

I went to TAMU as a first generation Aggie specifically for the traditions and culture. Still had more than my share of propaganda, but it was easily dismissed and ignored after vomiting it back up for the tests.

A&M was bound to move to the left at least some once the quality of education increased.

Decreased. Sadly.

If you mean the quality of education at A&M has decreased, thats just complete BS. There were a lot of non serious students at A&M with "2.0 and go" mentalities back in the good old days. Ill bet as much as a third of kids at A&M in the early 80s were just there to party and collect a diploma.

And a lot of kids there for those reasons only attained one of those goals! Congrats on making it 4 ? years because a bunch didn't.

With SMU and TCU in the top 25 we can say accuracy of the list is a farce.

We should be saying, which school provides the students with the best education (bang for the buck, so to speak). Everything else is just a distraction.
