Artists in general trend liberal. Country, rock, rap etc. Doesn't really matter. I overlook it in most cases and just enjoy the art but when they put politics into the art itself, that's a no go for me from then on. I blow right past their songs when streaming or turn the dial if it's radio.

Nashville country is full of liberals and has been for a long time but so is Texas/Red Dirt Country. Robert Earl Keen, Jason Isabell, Kacey Musgraves and a host of others are all super liberal. In most cases I don't care till they start bashing the other side openly.

Giving the ****** the attention he wants.

Sounds like the meteoric success has gotten to this kid's head and he thinks he's way more influential and important than he really is. I think he's also scoffed at being called a country artist.

I get that many don't like a lot of the 'pop' country coming out of Nashville today, but several of these so called "outlaw" or "alternative" country artists are some of the most PC, corporate-minded, of the bunch. It's actually many of the pop country artists who are more "live and let live" with their music and do not feel compelled to be crusaders for enlightening their 'lost' fans.

Will be interesting to see the fallout. As we know there are some country music stars who are outwardly and proudly patriotic (Toby K RIP) and might decide to make a deal out of this. I'm not sure how this will work out for the lying idiot. Says he's a veteran, but in case he wanted to I doubt he'll be jetting over to perform for our troops while Trump and Vance/DeSantis are in office.

I was a big fan of his when he was starting out. I do not know that he has put out anything good that I like in a couple of years, so he has faded from my playlist. Too many other good young Texas/Oklahoma artists out there to waste time on him, liberal views or not.

He can join the ash heap of Tyler Childers, Jason Isbell, and others who have become too insulated from their listeners.

Give a kid from Tech, Hudson Westbrook, a listen. Good kid and has some good music.

My son wants to go see Westbrook perform.

Just listen to Parker McCollum or Jason Aldean. Both conservative, and both have much better music then Zach Bryan.

There are no modern country artists that are worth a damn. Country music died at the turn of the century. It's all pop music now.

I didn't get to go, but I got my son and wife VIP passes when he played at Whitewater. They loved every minute of it and said that Hudson and his mother were great people to sit and talk with. There are not many of his songs I dislike.

That's awesome

We went to Parker McCollum this last month when he was playing at the pavilion. Great show. Did not meet him, but enjoyed the show.

Now to find Westbrook tickets for his birthday next year.
