Isn't she a TexAgs poster? Or am I thinking of another long-time HEB employee who is also on TexAgs?

Grocery stores now, especially HEB, have a lot of vertical integration too margins will be much better. HEB wants all the money. They make Frito LayBigballin said:
I hear that a grocery store is a tight margin business. Good strategy on hiring a woman. With pay disparity, that has to be good for the bottom line.

We don't have that problem yet. Our HEB is pretty new and the surrounding population density is still moderate. I imagine an HEB inside the loop or any more densely populated area would be much worse.

From a credentials standpoint I'm sure she's plenty qualified for the job, but that doesn't really tell us anything about how she intends to lead or what she intends to prioritize or deprioritize.

I wish she would read this and make plans to build an HEB in Henderson. There is no Brookshires, and the Brookshire Brothers is closed. so, no violation of the gentlemen's agreement. Only Kroger and Walmart-- both outdated stores. I know folks who drive to that dump of HEB in Carthage, just to get certain HEB products. We are excited about new store in Rockwall, so we wont have to fight too much Dallas traffic. An HEB in Henderson would draw from Longview, Tyler< Jacksonville. Right at 200k population! Better yet, build one in Tyler! There is Brookshire Super one store across street from and HEB in Corsicana-- so somebody broke the agreement.

Our H-E-B always has great 80's music. It's fun being part of the target demographic.
Later today at H-E-B....
Would it worry you to know that it is more complicated than that? Stores (not just HEB) track the cell phone data of who is shopping when and align the music with the favored playlists from people that shop at those times.

Sweet... I guess we're either about to get some Jason Boland or Five Finger Death Punch next go round!

Most of their store directors have been with HEB for 20-30+ years. The beauty of being private, they've created generations of success for many people who started off as baggers and checkers in high school.
