Anyone else have a bad feeling about it? At a venue of 60,000, security may be near Super Bowl level.

Half the country is celebrating the man's death so you know there will be protestors. They'll be empowered by having many of them together at once and they'll be mad because of the Great Firing.

And there's an unknown percentage of law enforcement that seem to side with the Charlie haters. How does that bode for security?

Just seems to have the makings of a bad day. Hopefully I'm wrong.

False. The majority of democrats were happy about this. Maybe not out celebrating or posting on social media about it but I have no doubt that they find at least some validation in the killing and are happy that Charlie has been silenced.

Considering an overwhelming majority of us don't believe Mr. Kirk deserved to die, I think the odds are very low. We're talking a fraction of a fraction. I'm certain it will be a lovely service.

Trump and Vance will be therealong with Trump jr who was a huge supporter of Charlies. My guess is this may even get national guard.

Wrong. Statistically improbable that the number is that low given the tens of thousands (maybe hundreds of thousands anecdotally) of social media posts celebrating. For every 1 that is openly celebrating, there are at least 10 that are privately happy about it.

I will be peaceful and merciful because that is what Charlie, and most of all, Christ wants us to do.

But there is no bridging the divide with the Democrat/Left monsters.

To keep the thread relevant - I believe an overabundance of security is necessary here. I believe that there are at least thousands of leftists that would love to attack this gathering. It is a distinct possibility and given the left's rhetoric, police and security must take the threat credibly.

Is the kindest reaction I have seen from old democrat "friends" on social media. Mostly completely indoctrinated soccer moms. They are basically finding the nicest ways to say he FAFO'd. They haven't seen any of his debates over the years, but they have been told over and over again that he is a racist, bigot, homophobe, white nationalist who hates empathy.

Most are remaining silent, knowing it's a bad look...but the vast majority are celebrating internally. Maybe not as much as they would have if Trump's head has blown up on live TV, but they are not at allsad about this.

The math doesn't even work with the thousands of people already caught celebrating on their social media accounts much less the ones that are at least smart enough to not broadcast their inhumanity. There are a way higher percentage of violent trash than that poster is giving credit for.
