I didn't say the administration doesn't pay attention to X. They clearly do and should.

I'm talking about the weirdo Neonazi wannabe "just asking questions" types. They have a hyper over evaluation of their relevancy.

Fair I must have misunderstood, I did read your post 5 minutes after waking up. Watching the admin respond to uproar on Twitter has actually been pretty surreal and incredible. I imagine getting the admin to change course from poasting on X is how left wing protesters wish they felt after spending all day holding signs for some pet cause.

X is where people get their news now. This is why Elon is/was so frightening to the left.

Go on X and read the comments. Right wing wild west.

I'm as conervative as it gets and see TONS of leftwing nuts on x. Perhaps your algorithm knows that all you do is consume stuff to enrage your inner TDS.

Bru if you are "as conservative as it gets", your TL would be full of Fuentes clips and vance shaming. Perhaps the algorithm has misread you?

Who's sock are you?

X is great. It is where breaking news is reported. There is no need to read any of the comments or engage with those comments. The point is to read the initial post.

Also, I find that the AI "Grok" is one of the best out there and is free to use.

X is fantastic and the best source of news.

But it's also become infested with political larpers having fake arguments that no one is debating in real life. A place where morons convince themselves they are relevant because other morons and bots amplify their comments. The types that think Fuentes is relevant to anything and that they are influencing politics. It's delusion.

The biggest problem on X is the sheer number of Indian bot accounts or Indian larping accounts where it's an Indian faking being something they aren't.

For a while these were flooding my feed. Had to start blocking anything even remotely from India to stop it.

Woe to anyone who mentions India though, you get flooded by 10,000 responses.

I wish X allowed you to block entire nations from your feed. I'd do that immediately with a few nations.

Fuentes is one of the biggest losers on the Internet and the term groyper gives me ****** chills.

On your other point, several times now the trump administration has walked a hugely unpopular idea or plan back after insane backlash on Twitter. There absolutely are people in the admin who are Twitter anon adjacent, and you can tell simply by some of the memes and edits official accounts post. I think it's foolish to not see that this is happening.

Yep. There are a number of people in the admin who are plugged in to anons. Their correct and updated meme usage on the official accounts says everything.

This is why I say the dissident sphere of X has an outsized influence. It dominates X and the Trump admin knows it.

Bluesky economically illiterates who boycotted twitter when it could no longer shadow ban conservative voices shouldn't comment on what it is or isn't.

Twitter is amazing.

Any incident that happens, the news media censors the videos. You will find them on twitter uncensored.

As someone who used to be in the media. People are not understanding this. Yes there's a lot of kooks on X social media and the Internet, always has been always will be. That's because of freedom of speech. But what a lot of people are truly not grasping is this is the main way for press releases and company information now because it will get to the people the quickest.

I see people smirking, and laughing all the time and saying that anything from X is a joke, but that's not where we are now. And people need to realize that.

Yes, you've got to wade through the crap and the junk, but this is the way it is now. The days of emailing and faxing press releases are way behind us.
“My philopsophy is this: Its none of my business what people say of me or think of me. I am what I am and I do what I do. I expect nothing and accept everything. And it makes life so much easier." ~ Sir Anthony Hopkins
